The candidate's CV is written by them to paint themselves in the best possible light. It tells you what they have done, and the skills or qualifications they have. Assessments don't tell us whether a candidate can do the job, but they will give you invaluable insights as to personality traits they have that will impact HOW they will act on the job, with their colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
The assessment can be provisioned in minutes, it will be ready for you within 1/2 hour of completion, and are on hand to assist with interpretation.
It is in both parties' interest that the candidate is the right fit for your company and the role you are hiring for. We would argue if they don't have the time to complete an assessment requested by a potential employer then they may be an indication they are likely to push back on future requests by them.
